UCSI University Terengganu Campus

UCSI University first introduced its Doctor of Medicine degree programme in April 2005, with its pioneer batch of 40 students. To cater to the expansion of its School of Medicine, UCSI's Board of Management decided to invest in a new campus in Terengganu. Hence, UCSI has added another feather to its cap, with the establishment of its RM50 million campus in Kuala Terengganu. When fully completed, it will be equipped with broadband technology and well-equipped teaching facilities.

UCSI Terengganu Campus is located in Bukit Khor, Marang, Kuala Terengganu. It is the first full-fledged private university set up in the educational hub of Terengganu. UCSI is also operating a full centre of the London English Academy (LEA) at this Terengganu Campus. LEA uses well structured modules that will bring out the best in a person and will provide the best English Language education.

According to Prof. Dato’ Dr. Roslani Abdul Majid, Dean of UCSI’s School of Medicine, the students will be grouped into various teams. They will be allocated hospital beds and expected to do a total work-up, which includes compiling information about patients. Once a week, a Clinical Pathological Conference will be conducted to discuss the diagnoses of patients.

A mini-bus will ferry the students from the campus to the Kuala Terengganu Hospital, located some 20 kilometers from the campus. The 800-bed hospital is situated at the scenic Pantai Batu Buruk seafront.
